Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
The controller of the personal data described in this Policy is Argo Lab Sistemas e Tecnologia Ltda, enrolled with the Brazilian company registry (CNPJ) under No. 68.705.923/0001-82 ("Argo Creations"), headquartered in Recife, PE, Brazil — responsible for argocreations.com.
2. What this site does not collect
The shortest way to describe this site is by what it does not do:
- it uses no cookies — none, not even the so-called "essential" ones;
- it uses no analytics, pixels or trackers of any kind, first- or third-party;
- it loads no scripts, fonts or assets from third-party servers;
- it has no sign-up, no accounts and no forms;
- it does not sell or share personal data for commercial purposes;
- it makes no automated decisions about you and does no profiling.
The site is a set of static pages. The little data processing that exists is described below — in full.
3. What we process, and why
Three things, and only three:
Theme preference — if you switch between the light and dark themes, the choice is stored in your browser (localStorage, key "argo-tema"). It never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us; to remove it, clear the site’s data in your browser.
Access logs — the infrastructure hosting the site records technical data about each request, such as IP address, date and time, and the page requested. They serve the operation and security of the service: diagnosing failures and defending the site against abuse.
E-mails you send us — writing to egomes@argocreations.com gives us your name, e-mail address and the content of your message. We use them to reply and, when the conversation moves forward, to conduct a proposal or an engagement.
4. Legal bases — LGPD and GDPR
For data subjects in Brazil, we apply the LGPD (Law 13.709/2018); in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the GDPR and the UK GDPR. In other jurisdictions, we apply whichever of these standards is more protective. The bases, side by side:
- Access logs: legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and running (LGPD, art. 7(IX); GDPR, art. 6(1)(f)).
- Contact e-mails: pre-contractual steps and performance of a contract, when the conversation moves toward an engagement (LGPD, art. 7(V); GDPR, art. 6(1)(b)); otherwise, legitimate interest in replying to those who write to us (LGPD, art. 7(IX); GDPR, art. 6(1)(f)).
- Theme preference: stays on your device and never reaches us — there is no processing by the company.
5. International transfers
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., in the United States, which acts as a processor and handles the access logs described above. Hosting therefore involves an international data transfer (LGPD, art. 33; GDPR, Chapter V), covered by the contractual data-protection safeguards in place with the processor.
Beyond the hosting provider and the provider that operates our e-mail, we share your personal data with no one — except under a legal obligation or an order from a competent authority.
6. How long we keep data
- Access logs: for the short operational period set by the hosting provider, aimed at operation and security.
- E-mails: for as long as the conversation and any resulting relationship last — and, afterwards, for as long as needed to meet legal obligations and exercise rights.
- Theme preference: in your browser, until you delete it.
7. Your rights, and how to exercise them
The LGPD (art. 18) guarantees you confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, portability, deletion, information about sharing and withdrawal of consent. In the EEA and the UK, the GDPR (arts. 15 to 22) guarantees access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection.
To exercise any of them, write to egomes@argocreations.com. Access requests under the LGPD are answered within 15 days; all others as quickly as we can — in the EEA and the UK, within the GDPR’s one-month period.
8. Data protection officer (DPO)
The channel for the person in charge of personal data processing under the LGPD ("encarregado", art. 41) is the company’s e-mail: egomes@argocreations.com. It is also the contact for anything about this Policy.
9. People under 18
This site is not directed at people under 18 and does not knowingly collect data from children or teenagers.
10. Authorities
If you prefer, you may contact Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) — and, in the EEA or the UK, your country’s data protection authority.
11. Changes
This Policy may be updated. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the effective date at the top — if the processing described here changes materially, the date changes with it.
